NIAAA Video Challenge

This year, SADD is partnering with the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) to bring you a video challenge that serves to counter misconceptions about alcohol and address concerns about alcohol misuse.

For this challenge, you are welcome to create any type of short video (45 to 90 seconds in length). We are particularly interested in messages that—

• Counter misconceptions about alcohol and its effects

• Address concerns that high schoolers have about alcohol misuse

• Offer messages that counter the expectations and motivations behind why teens drink

The challenge opens on June 1st and ends on June 30th. Voting will take place in the second week of July. This year you can vote for your favorites online on SADD's Facebook page, the second week of July. Each day in August 2020, we will recognize a top video entry that will be awarded $250, for a total of 31 student entries receiving $250 throughout the month. Ready...Set...Enter!
