
Randy Amomoy Soriano (he/him/his) is an undergraduate double majoring in Psychology: Addiction Studies and Political Science: Public Policy & Government at VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University). Randy started his journey with SADD as a Community Engagement Intern on December 2024! Randy loves to be involved in his community hosting many events on campus, tabling when he can, joining panels, and participating in political discussions happening in his community. Randy had also served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years as a Radio Communications Operator where much of his passion for leadership and community had been developed. However, he left to pursue his passion in advocacy to leverage his skills in leadership and community development to leave a lasting impact to foster strong, supportive communities particularly in mental health.

When it comes to fun, Randy dabbles in it all! He loves to go on nature walks to find his perfect nature painting view, finding a new music artist/genre every week to listen to on repeat, makes music and poetry to express his sultry and goofy nature. He loves to watch dramatic and thought-provoking shows and movies such as Parasite and ATLA. Alone or with friends, Randy enjoys the moment of it all.
