Real Life SADD: 'Til It's Gone
Brooke Eagan, Jennie Jerome, and Katelyn Charlock of Walhalla High School SADD chapter in Walhalla, North Dakota, participated in Game Plan, an abstinence program, during their classroom guidance time. Challenged to create a PSA for class, the girls thought outside the box and created a DVD depicting the very real consequences of alcohol and sexual activity. The video, ’Til It’s Gone, was entirely created, scripted, produced, and directed by these three SADD students at Walhalla High School. The girls also presented two workshops, with approximately 150 participants, at the 2008 Northern Lights SADD Conference, where they showed their video and followed up with discussion and questions.
